This game is about Sailing the Seven Seas in pursuit of trade goods during the Age of Discovery. Teams run companies set in major trading cities around Europe as they send ship forth around the world to buy spices silks, wool, artifacts, exotic oils, alcohol, sugar and more. Teams have to deal with storms, pirates, competitors as well as volatile markets where your ship of valuable goods arrives to a market flooded with your cargo and your 'potential fortune' is reduce to nothing. Students learn teamwork, planning, risk management, strategic planning, capital raising, joint ventures and more as they attempt to profit as sailing ships cross the oceans blue.
