Expectations
To attend you need to commit being there for the entire event. The skills taught build upon one another and involve group and team activities. There is a one hour lunch break and dinner break although these are to get a quick bite and work on the home work given for the breaks. It is intensive, but prepare for explosive growth. If you have registered, the team will make payment arrangements for your tuition which needs to be paid before you enter on Day One.
Being a Facilitator is an enormous gift as you get to see with people and watch them transform. You create environments for them to have breakdowns and then manage them as your process leads to breakthroughs. As your ability as a facilitator increases, your ability to create greater and greater transformation and create even more impact in the world. We have ten archetypes we use for this course. We encourage you to get costumes and play out with creating the archetypes to deepen the experience.
In this course we do ten different exercises each using a different a archetype.
PHILOSOPHER - The Philosopher archetype is modeled off the Greek philosophers such as Socrates, Plato and Aristotle. The value is in the questions, not the answers. Deep thinking, probing, challenging and expanding the mind.
BIG GAME HUNTER - The Big Game Hunter goes into the wild unknown and looks at taking down the biggest threats out there. Nothing scares them because with their trusty weapons, planning and knowledge they know nothing can take them out
DETECTIVE - The Detective archetype was really defined by Arthur Conan Doyle with Sherlock Holmes. The detective is entirely unemotional, factual and intent on discovering the truth by studying the facts.
HEALER - The Healer is the person who uses a range of modalities to help people release the emotional pain and hurt they have accumulated over their life. With care, compassion and training they free unhealed pain.
INTUITIVE - The Intuitive knows exactly what is needed at what time. They appear with just the right item when it is needed. They read energy and can shift and adapt as needed.
STORYTELLER - Wisdom was passed down through the ages through the storyteller, the shaman, the mystic. We will be sitting around a campfire and writing a story as a metaphor of our life and sharing it under the stars.
CHEERLEADER - Let’s Go Heroes!! Cheerleaders are there to make high performers, excel even higher. To find that inner depth and transcend. You are going to learn a cheerleading routine using the mindset of cheerleaders.
OLD TIME COACH - Back in the old days Coaches were not limited by political correctness and could push, challenge and get their players to rise above the limitations and excel under brutal competition.
SCRAMBLER - The Scrambler looks at life a different way. Using word patterns and effects they take someone’s internal conversations and scramble it in a way so that limiting belief will never be an issue again.
DIRECTOR - You are going to be given a Movie Title and you need to select actors from the room, write a script, train the actors and the cameraman and then using a green screen shot the movie so it can be edited into a short.
In the course we get to train exercises on each of these archetypes so by the end of it we can understand how to create material which can tap into these skills and become an extraordinary facilitator.
